If you are looking for guitar lessons in the London and Surrey area then look no further. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a budding Hendrix, all abilities are welcomed and catered to accordingly. Having taught guitar privately and in various schools and colleges for over thirteen years, Mike is an experienced tutor with pupils ranging in age from five to sixty-five!
Aside from teaching, Mike is also an accomplished guitarist who specialises in session work and gigs on a regular basis. It is this passion and enthusiasm for music that enables him to encourage his students, and many of who have gone on to become professional guitarists- something Mike is incredibly proud of.
One to one guitar lessons with Mike are about having fun as well as mastering the instrument, so he aims to make each session as entertaining and enjoyable as possible. You are in complete control of what you learn and how- lessons can be as structured or as relaxed as you choose. If there is a certain song you’ve been struggling with, or a special piece you’d like to compose then Mike can help.
Sessions are conducted at Mike’s studio in Worcester Park, Surrey- which has been described by some as a guitar players’ heaven, complete with over 10 Guitars including Fenders,Gibsons & everything in between. Amps, FX Pedals and various musical memorabilia also help set the scene for some serious jamming!
One to one lessons are charged at £30.00 per hour.
Half an hour lessons are charged at £20.00.
